FBS Ultra Low IgG / Low IgG

Standard FBS typically contains bovine IgG at concentrations of 5–8 mg/mL.

In immunoassays, antibody production, or hybridoma cultures, this bovine IgG can cross-react with detection antibodies and generate background signals. SeamlessBio FBS Ultra Low IgG reduces IgG content to < 50 µg/mL — delivering clean, reproducible results free from bovine interference.

Recommended applications:

hybridoma cultivation and monoclonal antibody production; ELISA and Western Blot using anti-bovine secondary antibodies; flow cytometry with IgG-sensitive panels; Fc receptor binding studies; and any application where bovine IgG may interfere with detection.

Available as Low IgG (reduced) and Ultra Low IgG (< 50 µg/mL).
